Strawberry May 26, 2011

The ice is off. Fishing is fair to good. Access is good to most of the reservoir. As usual, black or olive woolly bugger or leech patterns, minnow-imitating lures, spinners and streamers are effective.

Remember the special regulations. No more than two cutthroat under 15 inches and no more than one cutthroat trout over 22 inches. All cutthroat trout from 15 to 22 inches must be immediately released. You can't fillet trout and salmon. You can't remove the heads or tails in the field or in transit.
