Bison in the snow

On Saturday January 9, join Park Naturalist for a junior ranger program all about Snow! Learn why snow is white, how it's made, take a look at crystals through a microscope, make a "snowstorm" to take home and even play in Island snow.

Program is for ages 6-12 but all are welcome.

Earn a Junior Ranger Badge for completing the program and become an important part of the protection of Antelope Island State Park!

Program is 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Beach Pavillion (an indoor building with heat).

Park admission is $9/car and covers the entire day so come early and stick around! Bison, bald eagles, bobcats, coyotes, and lots of hawks are regularly seen in the winter months.
