Deer tags reduced??

About how many deer tags are going to be reduced??

The changes going into effect in 2012 will reduce the number of deer-hunting permits by at least 13,000 annually. And it will increase the cost of a general-season hunting tag in Utah.

The opportunity for the average hunter is being lost at the expense of the one with a lot of bucks (dollars) to spend. These changes do nothing (and wildlife biologists agree) to address the problem of Utah's dwindling deer herds.
